| 简介 | Tyco International PLC was organized under the laws of Switzerland. The Company was created as a result of the July 1997 acquisition of Tyco International Ltd., a Massachusetts corporation, by ADT Limited, a public company organized under the laws of Bermuda, at which time ADT Limited changed its name to Tyco International Ltd. The Company provides security, fire detection and suppression products and services and life safety products. The Company diversifies its activities into three segments: Tyco Security Solutions; Tyco Fire Protection and Tyco Flow Control. The Tyco Security Solutions segment designs, sells, installs, services and monitors electronic security systems, as well as designs, manufactures and sells security products. The Tyco Fire Protection segment designs, manufactures, sells, installs and services fire detection and fire suppression systems, among others. The Tyco Flow Control segment designs, manufactures, sells and services valves, pipes, fittings, automation and controls, valve automation and heat tracing products. The products and services of the Company are sold under brands such as Tyco, SimplexGrinnell, Sensormatic, Wormald, Ansul, Simplex, Grinnell, Scott and ADT. The Company sells products through its Installation & Service segments and indirect distribution channels. The Company is subject to laws and regulations relating to protecting the environment. |
